If you’re anything like me, 2 p.m. rolls around and suddenly… you’re tired, hungry, and craving something sweet. Instead of grabbing whatever sugary snack is within reach, I started making this smoothie again—an old favorite from my 20s that I used to obsess over.

And honestly? It still hits the spot.

This smoothie is basically a healthy Reese’s in a glass—so if you’re a fellow chocolate + peanut butter fan, you need to try it!

Chocolate Peanut Butter Smoothie-Shake Recipe

Ingredients

1 frozen banana

2 tbsp peanut butter

2 tbsp raw cacao powder

1 tbsp ground flax

2 tbsp Greek yogurt

~ 1 cup milk *of choice*

ice cubes (to your liking)

extra chocolate sauce, because why not …

Optional Add-ins:

Protein boost: Add a scoop of your favorite protein powder (I love Tera’s Whey from Thrive Market!)

Boost the Nutrition: Add collagen peptides or chia seeds for extra protein and omega-3s.

Directions

Combine all ingredients in a high-speed blender - minus the chocolate sauce - add that around the glass, before pouring the smoothie in and enjoy =)
